Buster and Baxter posing perfectly at their front door
The first thing to strike me about these two Golden Retrievers is that neither of them is gold.
Buster is a deep rich red colour and his little brother Baxter is a lighter cream colour with ears of a deeper shade.
Both dogs are very handsome and although I know it isn’t the case it seemed that their home had been designed to complement them. The exterior paint colours, the tessalated tiles, the carpet and even the bed linen (not that they sleep on it) matched in with their tones perfectly. This made for a very pleasing collection of photos.
As the older sibling, placid and friendly Buster showed great tolerance and protection towards Baxter the young playful pup. They were a delight to photograph and I can see why their parents Hugh and Marianne are so proud of them. Who wouldn’t be!
